Therapies

  • Occupational Therapy
    Occupational Therapy is "skilled treatment" that helps individuals to achieve independence on all facts of their lives. Occupational therapy assists people in developing the "skills for the job of living" necessary for independent & satisfying lives.
  • Physio Therapy
    As the word "physio" suggests it is concerned with physical activities. This therapy helps to achieve Gross motor mile stones. It provides assistance (AFO's, walkers, calipers etc) for required gross motor mile stones
  • Speech Therapy
    A speech   language therapist at Zep helps develop better control of the jaw & mouth muscles which can improve speech and language skills of special children. They also help develop creative communication methods pointing gestures, site reading, and communication board for those who cannot speak. This therapy can make a dramatic difference in the life of autistic and C P teens.
  • Behavior Therapy
    Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science & can certainly be a part of Autism treatment. This therapy is conceived for providing young people coping with trauma, anxiety & mental illness.
  • Vision Therapy
    Vision therapy, also known as vision training, is used to improve vision skills such as eye movement control and eye coordination. It involves a series of procedures carried out in both home and school settings, usually under professional supervision.
  • Ground Therapy
    At Zep we started with ground therapy for special children's physical fitness There is tendency of weight gain in most of special need children. Regular physical exercise helps these children to control excessive weight gain and to do their day to day activities in better way.
    In cases of ASD it is very important to channelize their energy in proper way which can be during ground therapy.
    Most of these children can learn coordination activities in ground.
  • Dog Therapy
    To an autistic child, the world is often filled with loud distractions, bright lights, disorienting stimuli, and uncontrollable nervous impulses. These days, more and more autistic children are facing this challenging world with a loving, specially trained companion by their side: their therapy dog.
  • Music Therapy
    Children with autism face significant obstacles to social interaction and learning. This qualitative, exploratory study of student music therapy practice in a special Education Unit, focused on supporting interactions of children with autism through Music therapy groups integrated into the school program.
  • Motion sensor games Therapy (virtual reality games)
    Children with Autism ADHD, LD, and CP etc have multiple difficulties in the performance of one or more areas of life such as play, self care or activities of daily living, resulting in the lack of learning which hampers the development of children.
    Virtual reality based developed motion sensor games could therefore be an interesting option to motivate children to perform specific exercises for the improvement of such problematic areas.
  • Augmented reality Therapy (ar)
    Technology like AR into education sector has been used to improve learning efficiency. Results using therapies based on this technology are very effective at teaching special students than compare to other traditional teaching methods.
  • Multi-Sensory Room
    Dark room is scientifically designed room especially for sensory stimulation in controlled and calming environment. Dark room helps therapist to provide appropriate sensory stimulus in an organized way to improve sensory processing of the sensory system.
